| A privately owned luxury villa on the west coast of Phuket and overlooking the beautiful Andaman Sea.
The villa is a modern-Thai styled property set among lush tropical gardens next to Bang Tao beach. The villa’s has a unique design feature, a double story sala (shaded area) which on the lower level houses a sumptuous swinging bed suspended at the pool’s edge whilst above is a ‘writing room’ accessed via an open air walkway from the master bedroom balcony. The Sala has windows on 3 sides and a glass door on the 4th and is full of light, set above the large swimming pool and gardens with lovely sea views. It is a perfect place to sit and read and either enjoy the sea breeze or rest in the cool comfort of air-conditioning. The lower level room extends from the wooden decking to become part of the pool and has a large sumptuous swinging bed with colourful silk cushions and a delightful side view of the garden and fountains. The entrance to main villa is both beautiful and practical with its traditional Thai carved wooden door and its pair of sweet fragranced ‘Temple’ [Frangipani] trees. These stand at the end of a walkway across a large pond with lotus flowers, bulrushes and fish swimming beneath. Another path comes across from the covered car park area giving easy and direct, wheelchair or buggy access to the downstairs bedroom. Sleeps 12 with ease This spacious two story, fully air-conditioned property has 6 large bedrooms all with private bathrooms/shower rooms and the 3 front king-sized bedrooms each have balconies and sea views. In addition the master bedroom has a separate dressing area and private use of a writing/sitting room overlooking the pool and sea [accessed via a walkway from the balcony]. Salafa will take 10 to 12 guests and is ideal for a 2 family holiday. The property has been finished to a high standard with solid teak or marble floors and tiling throughout and includes a spacious hall, indoor and outdoor dining areas, large sitting area with cable TV, 15m pool and lovely gardens. Bedroom descriptions:- • Master Bedroom, king size bed, dressing room, separate bathroom with double walk-in shower, double tub, double basins, separate WC, large balcony with full sea view and walkway to private second storey Sala. • Guest Suite 1 – king size bed, private shower room, very large balcony with full sea view. • Guest Suite 2 – king size bed, full sea view, narrow balcony, private shower room with twin basins. • Guest Suite 3 (downstairs) – 2 single (electric) beds with private decked area and very large shower room (this room is suitable for the elderly or disabled, shower room has an electric hoist). • Bedroom 5 – twin bedroom, 2 large single beds and private shower room. • Bedroom 6 – bedroom/office can be double or twin, with private shower room. Service staff Thailand is known for its wonderful hospitality where nothing is too much too trouble and the serving team are no exception. To ensure that guests have an enjoyable and relaxing stay, a member of staff will be on-site 24 hours a day. The villa onwer employs two full-time staff, a housekeeper/cook and a driver, maintenance man, and gardener plus a part time maid for larger bookings. The swimming pools and gardens are regularly maintained. Swimming Pools This villa is one of only 5 beach front villas the whole complex and has its own large swimming pool (45’ x 15’ with a 3’ deep shallow end going to 5’ at the deep end) and offers an additional disabled access (an electric hoist] Guests also have the use of a very large communal pool set in lush gardens in the centre of this exclusive gated development. Hi-speed wi-fi internet There is a reasonably fast broadband connection in the villa as well as full wireless access throughout the property (better in some areas than others). In case of any difficulties with the internet or computers during your stay there is a local company who will be happy to help. Telephones The telephone meter will be read on your arrival; all local calls in Phuket are free. Guests may take advantage of a very reasonable discounted rate for international calls (an access code can be found in the villa information book). In addition, Thai ‘pay-as-you-go’ SIM cards are very cheap and in order to stay in touch with one another while on holiday why not buy a few pre-loaded with 100 Bhat [US$3]. TV with surround sound Cable TV is provided at the property and there is a good selection of English movie, sports and news channels. A weekly TV guide is delivered to the villa. The lounge is equipped with a large flat-screen TV with DVD player and surround sound. There is a TV and DVD player in the downstairs bedroom. Hi-fi system The villa has a Sonos multi-room Hi-fi system in the sitting and dining rooms. A wide choice of pre-loaded music can be accessed through this system, including rock, opera, pop, love songs, rap etc. - anything and everything a family of 7 might have collected over the years. Inexpensive DVD’s and CD’s can be found in the shops and many copies or fakes are illegally sold in the markets. We recommend you bring your favourite music to personalize as your home from home. Transportation to and from airport Airport pick up and drop off will be arranged by the villa manageress and is included in the price. Please note that if arrival times of guests are staggered we may have to charge for additional journeys. Location The villa is overlooks Bang Tao Beach which with its 4.5 mile crescent of fine sand is known as one of the finest in the region. The property is the first of only 5 beach front Villas in the exclusive estate offering 24 hour uniformed security guards and an on-site management team. Phuket International Airport is 25 minutes to the north, Central Phuket Town is about 20 minutes drive. See maps for details. Services and facilities Rental rates include:- • Full use of this beautifully furnished Thai Modern Villa extending over 700m2 • 2 full time staff plus one part time staff for larger parties • American or continental breakfast with fresh fruit every day • Preperation of evening meal when requested • Rooms and bathrooms cleaned daily • Luxury Thai Spa Traditional Lemon Grass toiletries in all bathrooms (shampoos, conditioners and shower gels) provided throughout your stay- • Towels changed every 2 days or on request • Bed linen replaced twice a week or on request • Clean pool towels laid out • Cable TV and wireless broadband • Hair drier in every room • Beds turned down at night • Electricity (Guests are asked to turn off the air conditioning when not in the room/villa - abusive use results in extra charges for electricity) • Laundry services (a small charge is made for personal laundry) • Exlusive use of Villa’s own swimming pool and garden • Free use of large communal pool • Electric ceiling hoists for guest bedroom 3 and access to pool available if required • Driver – Kim, one of the Villa staff is available to do part time driving and we are happy to arrange a suitable hire car for you. This can also be arranged on arrival. • Garden and villa pool maintenance • Welcome book giving local information, shopping, menus, telephone info, local restaurants, things to do etc Villa staff will do your shopping At your request the staff will do your shopping. The simplest way to handle this is to provide a float (we recommend a minimum of THB3,000 for 4 people plus THB500 per person extra). The Villa Manageress will maintain a detailed account of expenditure and will ask for a top-up when necessary. Dining and Snacks Simple Thai meals and sandwiches can be provided throughout the day along with drinks and fresh fruit. For dinner there is also a good menu from which to order or just point at pictures in the cookery book and they will be able to deliver something pretty close. If you would like a dinner party or a poolside BBQ, the staff can arrange the food. (For large and frequent parties it may be necessary to bring in extra staff for a reasonable charge.) Individual preferences Preferences can be discussed in advance and tailored to your needs. We will provide, free of charge, the basics for your first day (breakfast, fruit, juices, soft drinks, case of beer, tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter). Delete “case of” A full fridge can be stocked prior to your arrival with your special requirements but please specify at least 2 weeks before arrival. We will take care of your kids Our staff are experienced with caring for children. They would be happy to baby-sit for a nominal hourly rate after 19.00. There is a baby monitor in the villa. Rates and offers Rental rates are for a minimum of 1 week, shorter stays can be considered during the low season Availibility The normal rental period is from Saturday to Saturday but other start and finish dates are possible by arrangement. If booking Christmas and New Year holidays together then minimum period is 2 weeks. |
